 She's been REALLY into Wizard of Oz for a while now. Here she had me draw Toto then she added the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and a smirk.

 

Our latest thing is to be in my studio together. I don't get much done, but she is very productive. Here she is next to her assemblage. She has a knack for gathering up materials and making some very contemporary art.

Zea's 3rd Birthday

Zea Bea is 3! Happy Birthday Zea!

It was a fun-packed day for her- a museum outing with both of us in the morning, then presents, dinner and cake. Her specific requests: "purple tulips on the table and pink tulips on a strawberry cake", "latkes and salmon" for dinner. Her Baba and Zeda, and Aunt Beth, Uncle Wes and Julius were all here to celebrate. Thank you everyone for the cards, gifts, Happy Birthday songs and good wishes!
